Directions to John Hancock Education Center

The John Hancock Education Center is on the first floor of the John Hancock Stephen L. Brown Building (formerly the Clarendon Building) at 197 Clarendon Street in Boston. Entrance is on Clarendon Street (right across from John Hancock Tower). Stop at security desk in lobby to check in. Then proceed straight down the corridor to the glass doors on the right.

Massachusetts Turnpike from West: Take Copley Square/Prudential exit. Follow signs for Copley Square. Go straight through traffic light onto Stuart Street. The next cross street is Clarendon Street. John Hancock Tower is on the left. Stephen L. Brown Building is across the street on the left.  To get to the John Hancock parking garage, turn right on Clarendon Street, pass entrance to Mass Pike, and turn right into garage.

Storrow Drive from West: Get off Storrow Drive at Copley Square exit. Turn right onto Beacon Street. Two blocks later, turn left on Clarendon Street. Go through several intersections and pass the John Hancock Tower on right. Next intersection is Clarendon Street and Stuart Street. There is an open parking lot across the street on the left. To get to the John Hancock parking garage, go straight on Clarendon Street, pass entrance to Mass Pike, and turn right into garage.

From North via I-93 or from Logan Airport: Follow signs for Storrow Drive from I-93 or airport tunnel. Now follow directions above for Storrow Drive.

From South via I-93 (Southeast Expressway): Take East Berkeley Street exit. Watch out for Big Dig construction! Turn left from access road onto East Berkeley Street. Follow East Berkeley onto Berkeley Street. (Cross over the Mass Pike.) Pass John Hancock Berkeley Building on left and then turn left on St. James Street. At next intersection, turn left onto Clarendon Street. Go past John Hancock Tower on right to intersection of Clarendon Street and Stuart Street. There is an open parking lot across the street on the left. To get to the John Hancock parking garage, go straight on Clarendon Street, pass entrance to Mass Pike, and turn right into garage.

Public Transportation: MBTA commuter rail and Orange Line T (subway) service at Back Bay Station. Exit station to Clarendon Street. Green Line T service at Copley station on Boylston Street.
