Storytelling Lab

Feedback on the Storytelling Lab, conducted virtually, is typical of the response from BFR participants.

• The lab was a terrific opportunity to learn from each other. The combination of hearing others' stories and the constructive, descriptive feedback made for a productive, enriching learning experience.

• What a winning combination we had in the virtual Storytelling Lab: learning plus fun. Many of us had an opportunity to tell stories, learning easy-to-use tips from Trish Griffin-Carty and hearing helpful responses from our listeners. As a facilitator and guide, Abby manages to be both gentle and solid, keeping us on track, eliciting our feedback, and making sure everyone gets heard.

• The workshop was very helpful and enjoyable. I had a story concept to help prospects understand my business. However, it was flat and I was stuck, unable to finish it. I listened to Trisha’s comments and the feedback from other participants on the stories shared during the class. The stories came alive, had multiple dimensions and got their points across. During the workshop I changed my story so that I now feel comfortable using it and know it will get people to relate to my work with family businesses. Thanks to Abby and BFR for offering these programs to us.
